A Flydubai flight operating between Dubai and Tel Aviv has been diverted and turned back amid heightened concerns in West Asia airspace. The incident follows unusual indicators, including a reported sudden altitude drop of over 17,000 feet within two minutes, which triggered alarm and safety reviews. Israeli authorities temporarily shut down Ben Gurion Airport for an hour and scrambled fighter jets as a precautionary emergency response. Investigations are underway by aviation and security authorities in both Israel and the United Arab Emirates, amid passenger accounts of an onboard altercation between pilots. Official confirmations regarding crew nationalities and specific triggers remain awaited from authorities.
