Xiaomi Smartphones Have Enabled Ads In UI – Right or Not?

Xiaomi smartphones like Redmi, Poco that run on MiUI have started getting random ads within notifications and system UI and with Xiaomi apps that run on the smartphones. Is this justified or not?
