A commotion broke out during an event in Patna attended by Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge, when a young man interrupted his speech to object to remarks being made about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Responding from the stage, Kharge remarked, “Even Modi’s father will go.” It is alleged that following this, Congress workers grabbed the young man and assaulted him.
