President Ram Nath Kovind on January 24 unveiled a portrait of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at the Rashtrapati Bhavan to mark the beginning of celebrations to commemorate the freedom fighter’s 125th birth anniversary. Many on social media, however, claimed that there was a mix-up. They alleged that the portrait unveiled by President Ram Nath Kovind was not of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, but of actor Prosenjit Chatterjee. According to an official statement, the portrait of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was unveiled at the Rashtrapati Bhavan to mark the beginning of year-long celebrations to commemorate his 125th birth anniversary.
