On 26 January, on the occasion of Republic Day, farmers took out a tractor rally in Delhi. During this period, violence took place at many places, there was a disturbance and the flag of Khalsa Panth was hoisted at the Red Fort. Many policemen were injured due to this violence, disturbance and anarchy. One person Navreet singh lost his life too. Some farmers had initially alleged that he died of a police bullet, but the CCTV video showed that the man died due to a high speed hit by a tractor barricade overturned. The matter of firing has now been dismissed from his postmortem report.
