Mr. S.L. Jain – ED, Bank of Baroda in an interview with CNBC Bazaar said that the Bank’s GNPA and net NPA have decreased while the provision coverage ratio has increased. There is a considerable slippage in corporate, major slippage in NBFC and the remaining in plastic and retail sectors. Slippages in agriculture and retail sectors have reduced while there is an increase in MSME and the savings deposit spheres. Deposit cost is going down and the yield on advance is increasing.
