Sachin Vaze has been sent to NIA custody till March 25 by a Mumbai court. A court in Thane had on Saturday dismissed ‘encounter specialist’ Sachin Vaze’s interim bail plea in the Mansukh Hiren death case.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested Sachin Vaze on Saturday following more than 11 hours of questioning.
In its order dismissing Sachin Vaze’s interim bail plea, the Thane court had said that his “custodial interrogation is necessary”.
The body of Mansukh Hiren, a car dealer was found in a creek in Thane earlier this month. Hiren was in possession of the vehicle abandoned outside Mukesh Ambani’s home Antilia with explosives inside of it.
India Today has now accessed CCTV footage of an Innova car used by Bomber to flee from Mumbai. The car can be seen going out of police station in Mumbai.
