The Modi government has released a fresh video of the 2016 surgical strikes on terrorist launchpads, two days ahead of the second anniversary of the operation. The Army announced on September 29, 2016, that it had carried out the cross-border strikes, days after several Indian soldiers were martyred in a pre-dawn terrorist attack on the Army Headquarters in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri.
