#CoronavirusInIndia: A doctor from Gujarat named Sohil, working tirelessly day in and out amid the pandemic like everyone else from his fraternity, shared his picture right after hours-long duty in PPE kit. In the viral picture, he can be seen sweating due to the long hours in PPE kit while treating Covid-19 patients. Dr Sohil wrote on Twitter, “Talking on the behalf of all doctors and health workers.. we are really working hard away from our family.. sometimes a foot away from positive patient, sometimes an inch away from critically ill oldies… I request please go for vaccination.. it’s only solution ! Stay safe.” Netizens are all praise for this man and for all the doctors.
The deaths due to Covid-19 have crossed the 2-lakh mark in India as more than 3,000 people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours (on April 29). Daily deaths were at a record high on Tuesday for the first time since the pandemic began in India, as the country, brutally hit by the second wave of coronavirus, continues to battle lack of oxygen, hospital beds for the patients and other medical supplies.
