Bihar CORONA Ground Report: Madhepur, a block in Bihar’s Madhubani district is a kosi flood affected zone. In Madhepur block, dozens of villages are located inside the levees bulit on Kosi riverside. Every year during the flood season, these villages go in isolation as the flood destroys the connecting roads. Temporary bamboo bridges bulit on Kosi also get deatroyed. It becomes very difficult for these villagers to travel to outside places for health emergencies. Therefore, a well-maintained local health center is must for people here. To see the condition of health infrastructure here, Team Lallantop visited this area on a rainy day. What we found was extremely disturbing. Watch this video for more details.
