The video of the body of a Covid-infected man’s corpse being thrown into the Rapti River in Uttar Pradesh’s Balrampur district has gone viral. After the matter came to light, a case has been registered. Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Vijay Bahadur Singh said on Sunday that the body being thrown in the Rapti River belonged to Premnath Mishra, who is from Shohratgarh in Siddharthnagar district.
