Sangla-Chitkul Road of Himachal’s beautiful Kinnaur. The landslide happened near Batseri here at around 1.30 pm on July 25. When rocks fell, a tempo traveler (HR 55 AC 9003) going towards Sangla came under their grip. There were about 11 people in the car, out of which 9 died. Eight died on the spot, while one died on the way to the hospital. Dr Deepa Sharma was one of them. Minutes before the deadly landslide she praised the beauty of Kinnaur.
