Neeraj Chopra became the first Indian to win the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics on Saturday evening. The Indian achieved the feat in the men’s javelin throw finals, after defeating the likes of world number one Johannes Vetter.
भारतीय जैवलिन थ्रोअर नीरज चोपड़ा ने टोक्यो ओलंपिक के जैवलिन थ्रो फाइनल में इतिहास रच दिया है. उन्होंने टोक्यो ओलंपिक में गोल्ड मेडल हासिल किया है. नीरज ने 87.58 की सर्वश्रेष्ठ दूरी तय करते हुए गोल्ड पर कब्जा किया. क्वालिफिकेशन राउंड में भी नीरज अपने ग्रुप में टॉप पर रहे थे. बता दें कि 2008 बीजिंग ओलंपिक के बाद ये भारत का पहला गोल्ड मेडल है.
