In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil narrates the story of Pakistan Navy’s Atlantic plane shoot down. On 10 August 1999, a maritime patrol aircraft of the Pakistan Naval Air Arm was shot down by a MiG 21 fighter of the Indian Air Force. This incident happened over Rann of Kutch, on the border between India and Pakistan.
