In this episode, Nikhil brings you the stories of Tokyo Paralympics medal winners. Avani Lekhara and Sumit Antil won gold for India. During a car accident in 2012, she got her spinal cord injured. She was only 11 years old then. Both her legs got paralyzed and she couldn’t walk after the accident. She started her career as shooter in 2015 and never looked back after that.
Sumit Antil was a wrestler but due to an accident in 2015, his left leg was amputated. He won gold in Javelin throw competition. Bhavina Patel won silver in table tennis. Devendra Jhajhariya, Nishad Kumar, Sunder Singh Gurjar also won medals in Tokyo Paralympics.
