Punjab Kings moved up to fifth in the IPL standings after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by five runs at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. After being sent to bat, PBKS had a slow start, losing both their openers KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal in quick fashion. PBKS ended their innings on 125/7 at the end of 20 overs. Chasing, SRH had a torrid start, losing David Warner and Kane Williamson inside three overs. Jason Holder put up a late fight with a brilliant 29-ball 47* but it didn’t prove to be enough in the end.
