Contemporary filmmakers who have carved their own ways, who have evolved with every film, who believe in the craft. One such contemporary filmmaker is Christopher Nolan. We all are familiar with Nolan and his films including Batman Series, Memento, Prestige, Inception and many more. In today’s episode of Matinee Show, we will talk about his upcoming film based on Julius Robert Oppenheimer who was considered as ‘father of atomic bombing’. Nolan has parted ways with his long time collaborator Warner Brothers and decided to go with Universal Pictures for his upcoming film. Events of the film are said to around Oppenheimer’s days in Manhattan Project, the initial testing of Atomic Bombing and what took place in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Budget for Nolan’s film is expected to be around 100 million dollars. The director himself has written the screenplay.
