Former Union Minister and four-time parliamentarian Jyotiraditya Scindia resigned from the Congress this morning, shortly after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi.
Jyotiraditya’s aunt Yashodhara Raje, a BJP leader, told India Today TV that his grandmother, Vijaya Raje Scindia, had wanted to see the entire family together. It had been her last wish, she said.
She said Jyotiraditya was a dedicated Congressman and something must have hurt his pride and totally humiliated him.
