Indian batter KL Rahul has decided to part ways with Punjab Kings and to join a new team for IPL 2022. As per reports, Rahul is all set to play for the new franchise Lucknow in the next edition of IPL. Reports also says that he will not only play but will also lead the Lucknow team. The source also informed that promoters & senior management of the team have already met Rahul multiple times and he has agreed to lead the franchise. As per the norms released by BCCI for the new franchsies, the new IPL teams will be allowed to sign players only after the existing franchises have announced the list of their retained players. The deadline for the finalization of the retained players by the old franchise is 30th November.
