In Salori, a locality in Prayagraj city of Uttar Pradesh, at midnight on January 4, the sound of ‘claps’ and ‘thalis’ started resonating here. For the last 8 months, youth who have been demanding teacher recruitment initiated this ‘Clap-Thali’ movement. The students preparing for other competitive exams also joined the protest. Thousands of students have been protesting for the vacancy of teachers, Lekhpal and VDO recruitment. Watch the video to learn more about the same.
