2012 में आगरा दक्षिण विधानसभा सीट (Agra South Assembly Seat) बनी. इससे पहले इसे आगरा छावनी (Agra Chawni) के नाम से जाना जाता था. पिछले बार हुए विधानसभा चुनाव में भाजपा (BJP) के योगेंद्र उपाध्याय (Yogendra Upadhyaya) ने बहुजन समाज पार्टी (Bahujan Samaj Party) के जुल्फिकार अहमद भुट्टो (Zulfiqar ahmed bhutto) को हराया था. इस सीट पर सबसे अधिक 75 हजार मुस्लिम वोटर हैं. वहीं दूसरे नंबर पर ब्राह्मण मतदाताओं (Brahmin Voters) की संख्या 50 हजार हैं. भारत निर्वाचन आयोग ने उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव (UP Assembly Election 2022) की तारीखों (Poll Dates) का ऐलान कर दिया है. यूपी में सात चरणों ( Seven Phases) में मतदान होगा. इसी के साथ प्रदेश में आदर्श आचार संहिता भी लागू हो गई है. उत्तर प्रदेश में 10 फरवरी (10th February 2022) को पहले चरण का चुनाव होगा. वहीं 10 मार्च (10th March 2022) को मतगणना होगी. Uttar Pradesh में चुनाव की तारीखों के एलान के साथ ही सभी राजनीतिक दलों ने अपनी कमर कस ली है. आगरा दक्षिण विधानसभा सीट(Agra South Assembly Seat) पर 10 फरवरी को चुनाव होगा. इसी चुनावी माहौल के बीच ‘इंडिया टीवी (India TV)’ का खास शो ‘ये पब्लिक है सब जानती है (Ye Public Hai Sab Jaanti Hai)’ की टीम आगरा जिले की आगरा दक्षिण विधानसभा क्षेत्र में जनता के बीच पहुंची. जहां उनसे यहां के प्रमुख मुद्दों को लेकर बातचीत की.
