On the intervening night of August 29-30, Indian Army thwarted the Chinese attempt to carry out “provocative military movements to change the status quo” on the southern bank of the Pangong Tso Lake area in eastern Ladakh. Not only Indian Army defended India’s land but also captured 6 strategic points along the LAC in eastern Ladakh.
