Embattled Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan faces an uphill task saving his government as the Parliament is to vote on a no-confidence motion against him on Sunday, April 3.
Imran Khan has effectively lost the majority in Parliament after a key partner of the ruling coalition joined the ranks of the Opposition, which has tabled a no-confidence motion against his government in the National Assembly. Khan needs 172 votes in the lower house of 342 to foil the Opposition’s bid to topple him.
Today, the House was adjourned after protests by members of Opposition parties over the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
