Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah said on Monday that films like Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files were giving rise to hatred in the nation and should be stopped. The film is centred on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley in the 1990s. Farooq Abdullah’s statement comes in light of the recent killing of Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhat in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.
