Twitter and Prashant Bhushan are facing contempt of a court case in Supreme Court of India after advocate Bhushan tweeted over a picture of CJI SA Bobde, and Indian history in past six years. A three-judge bench of the Supreme Court on Wednesday issued a notice of contempt of court proceedings against Prashant Bhushan, as well as against social media giant Twitter. In a series of tweets, Prashant Bhushan had said that “democracy had been destroyed” and had pointed to the role of the last four Chief Justices and the BJP government.
