Famous for its music and football Liverpool turned into a vibrant city with many facets to discover for tourists. Many come of course because of the Beatles who are probably the most popular sons of the city and used to play in the clubs of the city for years before they became famous worldwide.

But also for football fans Liverpool is a great destination as it is home to 2 Premier League Clubs with Everton FC and of course Liverpool FC. I got the chance to do a stadium tour and got invited to see one Premier League match live.

Another great are to checkout is the Baltic Triangle – the up & coming neighborhood in Liverpool which I got introduced to by Jack and Deividas before heading out into the Liverpool nightlife with live bands and tasty drinks (one of the must things to do in Liverpool!).

In the series „Life by the River“ I show you things to do on & off the beaten path focussing on hip & trendy areas with the help of locals in Glasgow, Manchester and Liverpool. Follow along this series for useful travel tips and many insider spots you can use to prepare for your trip to Glasgow, Machester or Liverpool.
