Suvendu Adhikari tendered his resignation to the party addressing an official letter to Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee. Adhikari resigned from the state legislative assembly on Wednesday evening. Meanwhile, Amit Shah will be in Bolpur in Birbhum district on Sunday. He will visit the Visva Bharati University and is slated to have lunch at a Bengali folk singer’s house.
