Below is the cost break-up of a portfolio shoot
1. Good Photographer- 10k-20k with equipments
2. Studio hire- 5k-10k or 1000 Rupees per hour basis
3. Make up and Hair team- 5k-10k
4. Stylist fees or per outfit rent- 500 to 1000 Rupees
5. Photoshop- 250-500 rupees per picture
I spent around 3k on studio, 5k on make-up and hair, 10k on photographer, 5k on touch up of my pics. I used my own outfits, so saved on a stylist. Overall spend was around 23k.

Some important tips for Portfolio
1. Try to include as many moods and expressions in your pics
2. Learn to pose before you shoot
3. Do not heavily alter or photoshop your pics
4. Try to keep it simple and realistic
