In today’s show, Saurabh Dwivedi discusses the reeling Indian economy and the way ahead. The first quarter data released by NSO shows a contraction of 23.9 percent in GDP. This is the first time in 40 years when Indian economy contracted. Except agriculture sector, all other sectors recorded a negative growth rate. Saurabh Dwivedi talks about five major sectors which are affected the most – Industry, service sector, mining, construction. According to experts, India need a growth rate of 28-29 percent to bounce back.
