Shri Arundhati Bhattacharya – Former Chairman, SBI & Shri U K Sinha -former Chairman SEBI featured in an interview with CNBC TV 18. Shri Bhattacharya highlighted the natural feelings of uncertainty and fear that had gripped the employees during the SBI merger with its five associate banks. He added that a chat window was employed to communicate with all the employees to address the issue. Shri UK Sinha who was the chairman of UTI MF during its transition period stated that US-based T Rowe Price has a 26% stake in UTI MF and that dominant shareholder can still have their policy objectives met even at 26%. He further said that HR policies need to be in accordance with the area of the company’s business.
