India vs Australia 4th Test at Brisbane, Day 3: The play was abandoned on day two of the fourth Test in Brisbane due to rain and wet outfield, with India 62 for two in reply to Australia’s first innings 369 in the series-decider at the Gabba. Heavens opened up during the break, delaying the start of the post-tea session at the Gabba. Heavy rain during the break soaked the outfield and, after two pitch inspections, umpires called off play without a ball being bowled in the evening session.

Australia grabbed two early wickets as Cheteshwar Pujara was not out on 8 with stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane on two before rain struck at the Gabba. Pat Cummins struck early for Australia with his second ball of the match, with Shubman Gill (7) fending forward and edging to second slip, where Steve Smith took a sharp chance.
