Vandana, brought up in a village of Maharashtra was seeking a job. She met one Dr. Varsha Khilor who employed her as a nurse in a hospital. Later, she learned about the Baroda Tanker scheme and enrolled there. Under the ‘Start-up India’ scheme of Bank of Baroda, the Baroda Tanker Scheme initiates entrepreneurs to monitor tankers ad coordinate between the drivers and Gas companies. Vandana took a loan of Rs. 38 lac and is a manager earning 30 – 40 k per month. She thanks Bank of Baroda profusely.
