The Union Budget 2021 can be segregated into two parts– capital budget and revenue budget. Without understanding these two terms, it would be difficult to understand the budget. The simple formula is capital budget is the sum of capital expenditure and capital receipt while revenue budget comprises only revenue expenditure and revenue receipt.
