In what is being said to be the most dreaded terror attack in Kashmir after the 2016 Uri attacks, a CRPF convoy became target of a major terror plot in Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Srinagar-Jammu national highway on Thursday noon. Terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed the responsibility of the attack and has said that it was a ‘fidayeen’ attack. The attack took place when a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the bus they were travelling in. Police identified the terrorist as Adil Ahmad from Kakapora in Pulwama. He joined the Jaish-Mohammed in 2018, they said.
2016 के उरी हमलों के बाद कश्मीर में जो सबसे खूंखार आतंकी हमला बताया जा रहा है, उसमें सीआरपीएफ का काफिला गुरुवार दोपहर श्रीनगर-जम्मू राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर कश्मीर के पुलवामा जिले में एक बड़े आतंकी साजिश का निशाना बना। आतंकी संगठन जैश-ए-मोहम्मद ने हमले की जिम्मेदारी लेने का दावा किया है और कहा है कि यह एक ‘फिदायीन’ हमला था। यह हमला उस समय हुआ जब जैश-ए-मोहम्मद के आतंकवादी ने एक विस्फोटक से भरे वाहन को टक्कर मार दी जिससे बस में यात्रा कर रहे थे। पुलिस ने आतंकवादी की पहचान पुलवामा के काकापोरा से आदिल अहमद के रूप में की। उन्होंने कहा कि वह 2018 में जैश-मोहम्मद में शामिल हुए थे।
