Uttar Pradesh Government has released an advertisement calling MBBS final year students, physicians, lab attendants, nursing staff etc. to help in Covid duties. However, government is paying MBBS final year students an incentive of Rs. 300 per day which is less than that of a Ward Boy. According to advertisement, Ward Boys would be paid Rs. 359 per day. Opposition and MBBS students have raised objection over government’s decision. A similar decision was taken by Himachal Pradesh Government according to which, MBBS students would be paid an incentive of Rs. 300 per day. Watch the video to know more.
