In today’s episode of Lallantop Adda With Doctors, we have Dr. Vikash R Keshri, MD. He is a medical doctor with specialization in public health and health policy. An alumnus of MGIMS, Wardha, India, India’s first rural medical college, he has also trained in health analysis from ITM, Antwerp, Belgium. A public health career spanning more than decade he has worked diverse role in many states of India.
Currently, Dr. Vikash is Senior Research Fellow at the George Institute for Global Health, India.
In the episode, Dr. Vikash highlighted various challenges with respect to the spread of coronavirus to the rural India in the wake of second wave. He has further talked about the short-term and long-term solutions, further shedding light on how policy-makers, frontline workers and rural population at large can handle the situation in a better way.
