Haryana BJP spokesperson and Karni Sena president Suraj Pal Amu was called upon a ‘mahapanchayat’ in Gurugram’s Pataudi. He invoked people to “make history” and “not become history”, so that “no Taimur, Aurangzeb, Babur, and Humayun are born”. The ‘mahapanchayat’ was called to discuss religious conversion, ‘love jihad’ and law to control the population. Amu was appointed as Haryana BJP spokesperson in 2013, then served as chief media coordinator between 2014 and 2019. On June 11, he was again appointed spokesperson of BJP in Haryana.
