India reported 42,766 fresh Covid-19 cases and 1,206 deaths in 24 hours, according to data released by the Union health ministry on Saturday.
The country’s active caseload now stands at 4,55,033. The current active cases constitute 1.48 per cent of the cumulative Covid-19 cases in India. Active cases declined by 3,694 in the last 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours, 45,254 patients also recovered from Covid-19. The cumulative number of Covid recoveries so far is nearing the 3 crore mark at 2,99,33,538. The recovery rate has risen to 97.2 per cent. Watch full bulletin.
