In this edition of Tarikh, Prateeksha narrates the story of Labh Singh, the commander of Khalistan Commando Force. An Ex-police officer, Labh Singh was a close associate of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale. He was involved in the biggest bank heist of that time, that was later recorded in the Limca book of records. He plotted and attempted to assassinate the DGP of Punjab police and also, once escaped from the police custody. He was Killed in a police encounter in Hoshiyarpur, Punjab on 12 July, 1998.
