On saturday, 25th July Jemimah Rodriguez played the inning of her life on England’s Headingley stadium. Jemimah played a blistering 92 run inning in just 43 balls and won the match single handidly for her team. Her knock consisted of 17 fours and 1 six. Due to her efforts Northern Chargers defeated Welsh Fire by six wickets. Jemimah became the first Indian women to score a fifty in the inaugral ‘The Hundred’ tournamnet. She ot to her fifty in just 26 balls. After her knock many cricketers from around the world showered word of praises for this Indian player through their tweets. England former male cricketer tweeted that Jemimah is her favourite player now whereas Indian male cricketer Dinesh Kartik said its the best knock of the tournament.
