After Sri Lanka beat India by 4 wickets to level the 3-match series 1-1, India captain Shikhar Dhawan reckoned that his team was a batsman short in the low-scoring thriller. Notably, Prithvi Shaw, Suryakumar Yadav, Manish Pandey and Ishan Kishan didnot play for India after getting identified as closed contacts of Covid-positive Krunal Pandya. BCCI on Thursday said that as many as 8 Team India remembers were self-isolating despite testing negative twice in the last 24 hours. The 2nd T20I, which was scheduled to be played on Tuesday, was postponed after all-rounder Krunal returned positive following Rapid Antigen Test.
