About The Video
In our previous videos, we have already covered about the option of investing in bonds and how they are a great alternative to stocks & share market. However, we also did briefly mention that one could check the credit rating of a bond given by credit rating agencies in India. Although there are many credit rating agencies, a few of them are well known and renowned like CRISIL, ICRA, CARE, India Ratings and Research Private Limited. There are different types of credit ratings and a single bond could be giving different ratings by different companies. There is a proper credit rating process or credit rating methodology that is followed by every agency for rating bonds, debentures, and other instruments as well.
