Tokyo Olympics Day 11: The day did not go well at all for the Indian team. Indian Men’s Hockey team lost to Belgium by 2-5 in the semi finals. After playing a world class hockey for the first 45 minutes of the game, Indians were outclassed in the last 15 odd minutes. In wrestling India’s 19 year old Sonam Malik lost to The Mongolian wrestler. The match ended at a scoreline of 2-2 but still the Mongolian wrestler won on the basis of ‘highest scoring point’ rule. Annu Rani was disappointing in the Javelin Throw event and so was India’s Tajinderpal Singh Toor. Sonam, Annu and Tajinder are all out of the Tokyo Olympics. Indian Hockey team will play Germany for the Bronze Medal match.
