For the first time in the history of India, the Government is on the verge of issuing a new denomination in currency notes; Rs. 200/-. It will fill the gap which currently exists in the high-denomination currency notes. As a part of upgrade of existing notes, the new Rs. 50/- note has popped up over social media and it is speculated to be released along-side the Rs. 200/- note.
