A militant involved in the assassination of BJP leader Waseem Bari was killed in an encounter with security forces in the Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the Watrina area of Bandipora. The militants opened fire indiscriminately on Bari and his family.
