Asked about the developments, CM Charanjit Singh Channi said he had no knowledge of Sidhu’s resignation. Meanwhile, Captain Amarinder Singh has arrived in Delhi amid speculation that he could meet either BJP chief JP Nadda or Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Former Communist Party of India (CPI) leader Kanhaiya Kumar and Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani joined the Congress on Tuesday in the presence of senior party leader Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi.
