To bring down the prices of petrol and other fuel, the Government of India has recently released a document on the Gasification of Coal. The government aims to produce ethanol, methanol and synthetic gases on a large scale by the year 2030 through gasification of coal. That is, ‘gasification of coal’ is the technique by which more and more ethanol and methanol can be made.
