Indian Army thwarted Chinese intrusion bid on the intervening night of Aug 29 -30 along the LAC. However, the Chinese troops made another attempt on Aug 31 which was also foiled by Indian Army. The United States supports India against the Chinese provocation at the LAC. US government further claimed that the emergence of clear pattern of Beijing acting increasingly aggressive is disturbing.
