पंजाब सरकार ने अमृतसर के श्री हरमंदिर साहिब (स्वर्ण मंदिर) में कथित बेअदबी की कोशिश की जांच के लिए रविवार को एसआईटी का गठन किया है। एसआईटी 2 दिन में पंजाब सरकार को अपनी रिपोर्ट सौंपेगी। स्वर्ण मंदिर के श्री दरबार साहिब में बेअदबी की घटना को सबसे दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण बताते हुए पंजाब के डिप्टी सीएम सुखजिंदर सिंह रंधावा ने रविवार को कहा कि डीसीपी (कानून व्यवस्था) के नेतृत्व में एक विशेष जांच दल का गठन किया गया है, जो 2 दिनों के भीतर जांच रिपोर्ट पेश करेगा। साथ ही बेअदबी मामले के बाद रविवार को पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी ने अमृतसर में स्वर्ण मंदिर का दौरा किया। बता दें कि, इस घटना को लेकर विपक्षी दल लगातार चन्नी सरकार पर निशाना साध रहे हैं।

Channi visited Amritsar’s Golden Temple, the scene of the first incident on Saturday, and claimed that some “inimical forces or agencies” may be at work ahead of the assembly polls early next year. He appealed for calm and harmony.
