Central government’s think tank NITI Aayog released a report of 198 pages on 27 December 2021. It consists of Health Index Report of 19 big states, 7 small states and 7 union territories of the country and shows the performance of states and UTs in the health sector. The states are divided into three categories i.e. 19 big states are placed in the same category, 7 small states in the second one and 7 Union Terrtories in the third category.
